CHARLOTTE
MANSUR
In 2013, I attended a workshop with tin artist Robert Villamagna and began working almost exclusively in recycled tin. Sometimes inspiration comes from images on the tin itself, which then develop into collages. Other times I use very small pieces to build an image, like a painter would use brush strokes, I “paint” with cut tin bits. My work is in direct response to world events, and what’s happening in my personal life. I have lived and worked in Florida since 1992.
